Strawberry Twist Smoothie

Start the day well with our delicious strawberry smoothie, full of healthy ingredients fresh from your own garden. Not only delicious, this smoothie will help to keep the doctor away. With over 150% of your daily vitamin C, give your immune system a boost and help fight off that pesky cold.

Ingredients:

1 cup TopTaste strawberries

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 sprig of TopTaste mint leaves

1 tsp honey

Enough almond milk to cover other ingredients in blender (Can replace with cow’s milk or water)

Ice (to serve)

Extra mint sprig for garnish

Ingredients for Strawberry Twist Smoothie

Method:

  1. Place strawberries, lemon juice, mint leaves and honey in the blender.
  2. Add enough almond milk to cover all ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Divide between two 250mL glasses, add ice and mint garnish. Serve.Makes around two metric cups (500mL)

Tips:

Look for an unsweetened almond milk to eliminate extra added sugar.
