Artichoke Green globe, is an heirloom artichoke which grows 90-180cm with silvery green leaves. Fruit is best picked young before bud opens. Rich source of vitamin c, foliate, fibre and minerals. It is considered to be a tender perennial/hardy annual dependant on growing zone, short lived in humid zones, prefers cool, moist summers and mild winters. Preferred pH 6.5.

Cultivate well draining soil with compost before planting. Water in well at planting. Cut and mulch after harvest. Regrowth will occur in spring. Propagate division after 5 yrs.
