Canterbury Bells are a cottage garden favourite with long stems of bell-shaped flowers in shades of blue, mauve, pink and white. Plant in a sunny to partly shaded position in mixed borders or in large pots.

Before planting cultivate soil to a depth of 15cm and mix in compost and complete garden fertiliser. Use premium potting mix for container plants.
