Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic is a truly yummy way to eat garlic. It can be used on its own, spread on warm bread as an appetiser or in replace of raw garlic for a new twist on your favourite recipes.

Ingredients:

Top Taste garlic

Good quality olive oil

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. Remove excess layers of the papery garlic skin
  3. Cut the top off the garlic, cut just enough so each clove of garlic is exposed (See pictures)
  4. Place each bulb onto a square of foil large enough to wrap the whole bulb
  5. Drizzle with enough oil to cover each clove, and spread around, making sure to cover every clove.
  6. Wrap the foil around each bulb, making sure they are covered completely
  7. Bake for half an hour to 40 minutes, or until the cloves feel soft when you press them with a fork.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to sit in the foil for five minutes before serving
